New arrival: Microsoft 365 Single and Family now available
Ever since Microsoft announced the new version on 30.03.2020, the changes have been the subject of hot debate. That’s unsurprising, considering that there are around 38 million Office 365 subscribers. Read on to find out everything you need to know about the Microsoft 365 updates and features.
Microsoft has added an AI-powered writing assistant to the Editor. The service is already available in over 20 languages and not only offers the familiar correction suggestions, but also provides content suggestions on the basis of your text. The service can be used in Word and Outlook.com, and there’s a plug-in to use it with the Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome browsers.
Powerpoint Presenter Coach
Someone’s now listening in – to give you feedback when you need it the most. An assistant has been added to Powerpoint. It listens to you during presentations and gives live real-time tips. The Coach takes note of your speaking pace, for example, and notices when you keep using certain words. The new Coach won’t hesitate to inform you if you’re speaking in an overly monotonous way either. The Presenter Coach is available in English and exclusively for subscribers.

A new Outlook extension is supposed to make it easier to separate business and private use. You can now manage several calendars and organise appointments separately.
Teams is often underestimated, with many thinking it’s simply a messenger or tool to make video calls. But Teams has a few crucial features, which set it apart from the competition. It’s your central office, from which you can manage joint to-do lists and schedules or share documents and other files.
Teamwork is also important outside of daily life at the office. Microsoft feels the same way, which is why it has integrated Teams into the private lives of users. In light of the Covid-19 pandemic, Microsoft now makes Teams available for all, with a free licence until January 2021.
If you are already an Office 365 subscriber, you can automatically enjoy all new features with a free upgrade to Microsoft 365. New subscribers can get the new Microsoft 365 at the same price, definitely making it worth your while.

Mine is fast to deliver facts when I’m philosophising about random stuff such as quantum or astrophysics and happy to tap into algorithms to provide me with a suggestion for the best and closest pizza.
