My printer says there is no more ink, but I can still print. Should I?
You don't have to change the cartridges every time you see a warning that the ink is low. The accuracy of these warnings varies greatly depending on the manufacturer and model. You will also often receive warnings, even though you can continue to print for half an eternity. The only way to determine if this is the case, is to continue printing until the print quality starts to deteriorate. This way you have a better idea of how precise your printer's indicator really is. The best thing to do is to order the cartridges you need as soon as the indicator light lights up. You can easily order them on this page and continue to use your existing ones until the print quality is no longer satisfactory.
The printer just won't print.
This problem is as simple as it is frustrating as it can be very difficult to determine the cause. If there is no error message, check the connections between the printer and your PC. With wireless devices, it often helps to re-connect the device. If this option is available, you can immediately enter the IP address of the router. Alternatively, you could try changing DNS auto settings instead of using the automatic connection. If this doesn't help either, reinstalling the driver software could help resolve this issue.
The wi-fi printer reacts too slowly.
In this case, you can try moving your printer as close as possible to the router to increase the speed.
The printer is too slow.
Printing speeds vary greatly depending on the model. However, it is still possible to get a faster speed from a slow printer: If you do not need the highest quality prints, you can reduce the quality or even print in draft mode. In addition, you should deactivate duplex printing if you do not need it. This is because the printer takes more than just a moment to turn the paper.
The print quality is getting worse.
It may be that the print nozzles are dirty. Simply by cleaning these nozzles you will get the original print quality again. For this, you should definitely consult the manual, so that you do not make the problem worse.
Error message "missing driver"
The driver is the software that allows communication between your printer and your MFP. Sometimes these drivers do not exist for certain operating systems (e.g. Mac OS). If this is the case, you should contact the manufacturer.
My printer constantly jams and/or takes more than one page at once.
Thankfully, paper jams are not as common as they were a few years ago. However, they occasionally still occur and result in lots of frustration and mistreated printers. The most common cause of paper jams by far is incorrectly inserted paper. When inserting paper, make sure that it is all flush in the tray. Furthermore, the paper must not be crumpled, creased, torn, or otherwise damaged. If it still happens, you should take a close look at the printer's paper feed: smaller, torn pieces of paper are often the reason why the paper is not pulled through the tray. Using the wrong kind of paper can also be a possible cause!

Windows always sends my print jobs to the wrong printer.
It can happen that Windows deletes your default settings after an upgrade. To change this, you have to reset your default printer settings to the desired printer. These can usually be found under System Settings -> Hardware -> Devices and Printers.
The ink always dries up.
It could be that your printer is placed in the wrong place, i.e. too close to the heating or a window with direct sunlight and a higher temperature. In addition, you should always shut down the printer correctly. This parks the print head on the seal that keeps the ink from drying out.
If you cannot be friends with your printer despite all the tips, you just so happen to be in the right place!
