The fact that the loudspeaker components achieve excellent precision and homogeneity despite the concentrated power is due to the modern Klippel measuring method, which optimises both the centring and the magnetic field of the overpowered speakers. The 2-way coaxial loudspeaker WRS 16.2 is specially designed for use in the maritime sector or in damp rooms and offers excellent sound performance as well as a high degree of robustness and moisture resistance. The loudspeaker complies with both the IPX 6 standard and the ASTM-B117 standard, which certifies salt water resistance, making it an ideal partner at sea. Even UV rays cannot harm the sound converter, which only has an installation depth of 60mm. The coated polypropylene cone of the woofer with dynamic surround for high efficiency and the polycarbonate tweeter are protected by an integrated design speaker grille and sit in a sturdy ABS basket. The drive is provided by an internal high-power ferrite magnet system.
