Ingo Maurer

Ingo Maurer has been designing unusual lamps, lighting systems and objects since the mid-1960s, which he manufactures as an entrepreneur in his own company and sells worldwide. Therefore, they can implement their own ideas without compromise.

For decades, Ingo Maurer has been working with his team - as he calls his employees - which has grown over the years to more than 60 people. The address in Munich-Schwabing has remained the same since 1970, but new premises were found on the outskirts of Munich for production and shipping after the backyard at Kaiserstraße 47 had become very cramped around 2005. This made room for a large showroom - the second after New York, and the only one in Europe.

From the design of lamps and lighting systems, exhibitions and trade fair booths, the project area emerged. We received more and more requests for projects: Lighting design and interior design work. The projects are now an important part of our activity, allowing Ingo Maurer on the one hand to realize his ideas and on the other hand to create fantastic, pleasant and stimulating spaces for the clients or the later users.
