Don't get me wrong the keyboard is absolutely beautiful. Materials are nice (rubberized plastic and I think it has an aluminium internal body) design is cool. The membrane is much better than the one of the K400, typing is smoother and more comfortable. The touchpad is maybe too rubby...finger don't really slip on it, you can get stuck but it is precise and smooth. What is bad:
- for the price, some details had to be taken care of: the switch on-off wobbles and it is very difficult to switch off the keyboard with one hand...the switch just won't go in place, you need nails and to look at it to get the right movement. not steady enough
- the mouse button on the K400 on the left was in the upper left corner. Means that you could use the right thumb on the touchpad, and the left thumb on the dedicated left mouse button on the left side: very ergonomic. They put this button on the other side (front side) Means you have to use your index finger while holding the keyboard (trigger style) I don't really find a happy solution. Was much better before.
BACKLIGHT: I bought the keyboard for the backlight and because it is smaller than the K400. Well, the light is adjustable (off - medium - strong) and strong enough even noticeable in dark rainy afternoons. In dark would be very very strong.
The keyboard is fine and nice, but if I have to compare the K400 (paid 30 chf) to this (paid 115)....it doesn't really make sense. This is absolutely not 3 or 4x times better than the K400.…mehr
